Prince Harry leaves Australia for Gallipoli commemorations in Turkey

Prince Harry is leaving Australia to attend special World War I commemorations in Turkey before returning to Australia to complete his month-long military exchange, Kensington Palace said in a statement on Wednesday.

Harry is traveling to Turkey with Australian Defense Force (ADF) personnel on a Royal Australian Air Force aircraft.

Harry's elder brother, Prince William, and his wife Kate are expecting their second child and Prince Harry will fly back to London after his duties in Turkey to welcome his new niece or nephew.

"Prince Harry will briefly return to the UK this weekend following the Gallipoli commemorations in Turkey to attend the London marathon as patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, " Kensington Palace said.

Prince Harry travel back to Australia next Monday to begin the second phase of his military attachment to the ADF. Endi
