Paulo Cesar sold World Cup gold medal to buy cocaine

Paulo Cesar, a member of the 1970 World Cup winning team, has admitted he sold the gold medal to buy cocaine.

The former Brazilian star told Globonews television station said he regretted selling the "precious medal".

The 65-year-old Paulo Cesar, who had played for Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, Gremio, Vasco da Gama and Corinthians, admitted his addiction began in France when playing for Marseille in the 1970s. Endi
