about 'it,'" said Ujiri in front of thousands of Toronto fans outside of the Air Canada Centre.

When asked about Ujiri's response, Pierce let his performance on the court do the talking.

"I could really care less. I think I can play the psychological war a little bit better than him," said Pierce. "I'm just trying to help my team win, trying to give us a mental edge."

"I don't mind playing the role of underdog, villain, whatever you guys want to call it," Pierce added. "I think it's something that really drives me. I get more enjoyment going on the road and getting a win than I do at home."

Having won game one, Pierce expects to hear more of the same reaction from Toronto fans in the upcoming road games. The series continues with game two in Toronto Tuesday evening. Enditem
