Chinese companies actively participate in B-Travel in Barcelona

Chinese companies are very active here promoting China's tourism among local operators at the B-Travel, an international tourism show that opened its doors on Friday.

On the occasion of the B-Travel, China National Tourist Office in Spain and Air China held a joint press conference where they explained to local operators the evolution of the Chinese tourism in 35 years.

Zhiyun Zhang, Director General of the Chinese National Tourist Office in Spain said, in 2015, there are two important themes: Beautiful China and the Silk Road. He explained that the first theme referred to the brilliant culture and great history of China, while the second theme alluded the idea of building a tourism area following the ancient Silk Road.

"Treasures of China are waiting to be discovered," Zhang Yinghui, General Manager of Air China in Barcelona, told reporters. The company has four flights a week from Barcelona to Beijing between April and October, three flights a week in the other time of the year.

B-Travel is a revamp of the International Tourism Show in Catalonia.

In this year's event there are about 200 exhibitors that represent about 1,000 companies, including hotels, transport companies, shipping lines, national and international destinations and tourism products and services. Endit
