Albania, Macedonia to intensify economic cooperation

President of Albanian Assembly Ilir Meta and Minister of Economy of Macedonia Bekim Neziri noted the need to intensify economic cooperation between the two countries during a meeting here on Friday, according to a press release from Albanian Assembly.

Neziri expressed gratitude for Albanian Assembly's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, and noted that inter-parliamentary relations are very important in enhancing the quality of cooperation between Tirana and Skopje.

Both interlocutors also talked specifically about common economic priorities between Albania and Macedonia, which are closely related to the strengthening of regional liaison.

Meta, expressed full support of Albanian Parliament in the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of Macedonia. Endit
