French stock market index down 1.55 pct on Fri.

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a significant decrease of 1.55 percent at 5,143.26 points on Friday, down 81.23 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower on Friday with 38 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

Friday's only two gainers were Accor, up 1.03 percent, and Peugeot, up 0.12 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Friday were ArcelorMittal, down 3.13 percent, Credit Agricole, down 2.83 percent, and Airbus Group, down 2.80 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.57 percent at 5,224.49 points, down 29.86 points. Endite
