EU external current account surplus reaches 20.4 bln euros in Feb.

The European Union (EU) seasonally adjusted external current account recorded a surplus of 20.4 billion euros in February 2015, up from 19.5 billion euros in January 2015 and 7.5 billion euros in February 2014, according to the first estimates from EU's statistical office Eurostat on Friday.

Based on seasonally adjusted data, the surplus of the services account grew as did the surplus of the primary income account, and the deficit of the secondary income account fell in February compared with the previous month.

Moreover, the surplus of the goods account decreased.
