Indian stocks open higher

Indian stocks opened higher on Thursday tracking positive trend seen in global markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 288,76.23, 76.54 points or 0.27 percent up from previous close of 28,799.69.

Globally cues were positive as the U.S. markets gained following a rally in oil with the Nasdaq outperforming to close above the psychologically key 5,000 level. Asian trade too was positive in the morning trade. Endi
