Chinese stocks close mixed Tuesday

Chinese stocks ended mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.34 percent, or 13.85 points, to finish at 4,135.56 points.

However, the Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.76 percent, or 107.04 points, to close at 14,042.46 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, also declined 0.73 percent, or 18.93 points, to end at 2,558.85 points. Endi
