Sao Paulo consider Klose bid

Xinhua, April 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

Sao Paulo are considering a move for Lazio forward Miroslav Klose, according to media reports.

The 36-year-old is contracted to the Italian Serie A club until June and is reportedly undecided about his future.

Brazilian football news portal Sambafoot said on Monday that Sao Paulo is ready to make an offer for Klose if he becomes available on a free transfer.

Apart from Sao Paulo, the former Germany international has been linked with a move to clubs in the Bundesliga and US Major League Soccer.

Lazio have also reportedly offered Klose a new contract, although it is understood talks have stalled over the former Bayern Munich striker's request for guaranteed playing time.

Klose holds the record for the most World Cup goals with 16, having surpassed Ronaldo's tally of 15 during last year's World Cup. Endi
