Spanish stock market up 1.0 pct

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.0 percent on Monday to close at 11,866.40 points, up from 11,749.30 points on Friday.

Banco Sabadell shares led rises climbing 2.27 percent, followed by Telefonica, Bankinter, Banco Popular and Gas Natural which rose 2.12 percent, 2.01 percent, 1.83 percent and 1.78 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 1.48 percent, followed by IAG, Grifols, Tecnicas Reunidas and Amadeus which lost 0.72 percent, 0.54 percent, 0.52 percent and 0.45 percent respectively.

The Ibex index rose 0.17 percent early in the trading day with Gamesa shares leading rises followed by Gas Natural. At mid-trading session, the index rose 0.64 percent to 11,824 points with Telefonica shares leading rises and ArcelorMittal shares leading falls.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 110.40 points on Monday at closing time, rising from 108.60 points. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.258 percent. Endit
