Officials told not to meddle in judicial enforcement

Xinhua, April 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

A senior justice on Monday pledged to deal with judicial enforcement problems, including meddling by the government and judicial officials.

Cases of government officials or insiders from the judicial system intervening in judicial activities should be put on record as part of measures to hold such violators accountable, said Jiang Bixin, vice president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), at an SPC conference.

Jiang also vowed to punish and prevent other violations in enforcement procedures such as evasion by litigants or refusal to cooperate in enforcement.

The justice promised to promote transparency in the process by putting enforcement documents online and other measures. Endi
