Singapore stocks close 0.35 pct higher

Singapore stocks finished slightly higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 12.01 points, or 0.35 percent, to close at 3,484.39.

A total of 3.38 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 3 billion Singapore dollars (948.8 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 307 to 187, while 443 others finished unchanged.
