Iceland sees trade surplus increase in March

Iceland saw its balance of trade increase to a surplus of 11.3 billion Icelandic krona (83.2 million U.S. dollars) in March, up from a surplus of 6.6 billion Icelandic krona in February, Statistics Iceland said Thursday.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to 63.4 billion krona, while the value of imported goods amounted to 52.1 billion krona in March.

Compared with February, the value of exported goods in March increased 12.2 billion krona, while the value of imported goods increased 7.5 billion krona. Endit
