Urgent: Kenya freezes 86 bank accounts with terrorism links

The Kenyan government on Wednesday suspended bank accounts of 86 financial institutions and individuals suspected of financing terrorism.

In a gazette notice, the government ordered all licensed banks and microfinance institutions to deny the 86 financial services and to file transaction reports with the central bank within 48 hours. Endi
