-- German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel has sharply criticized Greece's new calls for Germany to pay reparations for crimes committed during the Second World War. "Honestly, I find it stupid," said Gabriel on Tuesday in Berlin.

Die Welt:

-- The European Commission has warned Greece against extra agreements with Russia ahead of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' visit to Moscow. "We expect that all member states speak with one voice to our trading partners, including Russia," said a commission spokesman.
