Visiting U.S. special representative meets top Indian officials on Afghanistan

Visiting U.S. special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Dan Feldman, has met top Indian officials in the national capital and discussed the situation in Afghanistan, sources said Wednesday.

"The U.S. representative arrived in the Indian capital Tuesday and met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar among others, as part of bilateral high-level consultations on Afghanistan," the sources said.

Feldman and Indian officials also discussed how best to support a sustainable, inclusive, sovereign, and democratic political order in Afghanistan, the sources said. Endi
