1.2 million Olympic tickets sold

Brazilians have snapped up about 1.2 million tickets for next year's Rio Olympics a week after tickets went on sale, organizers said Tuesday.

According to tickets sales, the most popular sports are volleyball, football and basketball.

A total of 7.2 million tickets will be sold with some 70 percent reserved for residents of Brazil. Endi
