Senior Chinese, Belarusian officials hold talks

Senior Chinese official Meng Jianzhu held talks with Belarus' Security Council State Secretary Alexander Mezhuev in Beijing on Tuesday.

China is willing to deepen strategic trust and expand cooperation with Belarus, said Meng, head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.

He voiced confidence bilateral relations will improve with the support of leaders of both countries.

He called for more communication and cooperation on security.

Mezhuev said his country attaches great importance to ties with China and is ready to enhance cooperation with China. Endi
