Singapore stocks close 0.37 pct higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 12.71 points, or 0.37 percent, to close at 3,465.62.

A total of 1.95 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 952.7 million Singapore dollars (695.4 million U.S. dollars).

Gainers outnumbered decliners 274 to 152, while 507 others finished unchanged.
