7 killed, 10 injured in traffic accident in Turkey

Seven people were killed and 10 others injured in a traffic accident in southeastern Turkey late Monday, private Dogan news agency reported on Tuesday.

A minibus carrying Turks who were returning from a wedding ceremony in southern Adana province hit a truck carrying vegetable on Tarsus-Adana highway in Bahce town of Osmaniye province, leaving six people dead and 11 others injured on the scene, according to the report.

One injured person died later, said the report, adding that an investigation into the accident was underway.

On March 29, 12 people were killed and five others injured in a traffic accident in Sanliurfa province of southeastern Tureky, private Dogan news agency reported. Enditem
