A 4.9-magnitude quake struck Gerze county of Ali prefecture in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region on Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The quake occurred at 12:41 p.m. at 33.1 degrees north latitude and 83.3 degrees east longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers, the center said. Endi
