Brazil to announce Copa America squad on May 5

Xinhua, April 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

Brazil coach Dunga will announce his squad for this year's Copa America in Chile on May 5, the country's football federation (CBF) said on Monday.

The Selecao will begin their Copa America campaign against Peru on June 14 before also meeting Colombia and Venezuela in the group phase.

Dunga's side will warm up for the June 11-July 4 tournament with home friendlies against Mexico and Honduras in early June. The venues for the matches are yet to be announced.

Brazil have won the Copa America eight times, including victory at the 2007 tournament in Venezuela during Dunga's first spell as Selecao coach.

This year's edition will feature the 10 member nations of South America's Conmebol confederation, in addition to Mexico and Jamaica. Endi
