A total of 13 Myanmar wushu players will take part in the 28th SEA Games to be hosted by Singapore this year, according to Myanmar Wushu Federation on Monday.

Myanmar wushu team has been under joint-training in China for three months.

The team was trained by three Chinese coaches and five local coaches in Nay Pyi Taw before going to China.

Myanmar is expecting to grab at least five Wushu gold medals in the SEA Games and its main rivals will be Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, said the federation.
