Zambia to face Namibia in CHAN qualifier

Xinhua, April 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Zambia will face Namibia for the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) preliminary round qualifier, the Times of Zambia reported on Monday.

The Chipolopolo, who are trying to make a second appearance in the CHAN finals, will play Namibia in the first leg of the preliminary round on June 20 away in Windhoek, according to Times.

Zambia, who participated in the inaugural CHAN competition in 2009 and won a bronze medal, will then host the Warriors for the decisive preliminary round fixture.

The winner of this fixture will qualify for the final stage in which 15 teams will emerge to join hosts Rwanda to compete from Jan. 16 to Feb. 7, Times added. Endi
