Dollar trades at upper 118 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 118 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.86-93 yen compared with 118.88-98 yen in New York and 119.63-64 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0997-0998 dollars and 130.71-72 yen against 1.0967-0977 dollars and 130.45-55 yen in New York and 1.0871-0874 dollars and 130.06-10 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
