Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta declares on Saturday a three-day national mourning for victims in a university attack in northern part of the country, pledging to respond "in the severest ways possible" to Al-Shabaab.

Kenyatta said in a televised speech the Somali militant group Al-Shabaab, which killed 148 people in the Thursday attack on Garissa University College, will not be able to create an Islamic caliphate in Kenya.

"We will fight terrorism to the end,'' said Kenyatta, adding that security forces are pursuing the remaining accomplices. Endi
