Iran says committed to promises in nuclear talks

Xinhua, April 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

Iran will remain committed to its promises to world powers at the nuclear talks provided that it is a mutual relationship, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Friday.

"We will remain committed to our promises and obligations provided the other party does too," Rouhani said in a speech congratulating Iranian nuclear negotiators for finding solutions to Iran's decade-long nuclear issue.

Iran will not be deceptive nor lie concerning its nuclear commitments, Rouhani said, adding that the final deal should be balanced and considerate of the interests of both sides.

Iranian negotiators and the P5+1 group concluded Thursday the nine-day nuclear talks in the Swiss town of Lausanne, reaching common grounds to unresolved issues in a bid for a comprehensive deal by June 30. Endit
