Dollar trades in upper 119 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 119 yen zone early Friday in Tokyo, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.70-71 yen compared with 119.65-75 yen in New York and 119.52-54 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.0869-0870 dollars and 130.10-12 yen against 1.0875-0885 dollars and 130.21-31 yen in New York and 1.0816-0818 dollars and 129.28-32 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
