Singapore stocks close 0.01 point higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 0.01 point, or 0.00 percent, to close at 3,447.02.

A total of 1.23 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 954.5 million Singapore dollars (697.0 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 225 to 195, while 514 others finished unchanged.
