Indonesia's foreign tourist arrivals up 11.95 pct in Feb.

The number of foreign holiday makers coming into Indonesia in February increased by 11.05 percent to 786,700 people year on year, the national statistic bureau announced here on Wednesday.

In Bali, the center of Indonesia's tourism industry, the number of foreign tourist visiting the beautiful resort island in February rose by 23.65 percent to 333,100 people on year, Suryamin, head of the bureau told a press conference at the bureau headquarters.

The Indonesian government plans to revive the country's tourism industry by extending free visa facilities to 45 countries.

Under the facility, Indonesia expects to scale up foreign tourist arrival to 20 millions people within 5 years, from 9.44 million in 2014, according to Arif Yahya, Indonesian tourism minister.
