29 militants killed in Afghanistan: MoI

Afghan security forces have killed 29 Taliban militants during series of operations across the country over the past 24 hours, Ministry of Interior said in a statement released here on Wednesday.

Another 32 militants, according to the statement, have been injured during the operations which were conducted in Nangarhar, Laghman, Takhar, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Farah and Helmand provinces over the period.

However, the statement didn't say if there were casualties on the security personnel.

Taliban militants fighting the government haven't made comment. Endi
