Update: Bomb alert negative, Turkish plane allowed to continue trip

A Turkish airlines Boeing 777-300 ER from Istanbul to Sao Paulo, which made on Monday an emergency landing in Casablanca international airport, was allowed to continue its flight to its destination, the local authorities of Casablanca said.

The plane made an emergency landing in Casablanca international airport at 12:30 GMT after a note with a bomb threat was found inside the airplane's toilet. The 264 passengers onboard were evacuated for further search operations.

According to local authorities, the following inspection on the flight TK15 Turkish Airlines found the bomb alert was negative, and the plane was allowed to continue its trip. Endit
