A storm over parts of Germany on Sunday night led to some damages and several people were injured, German local media reported on Monday.

According to reports, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), two people were slightly injured when their car was struck by a tree, while in Cologne, one man suffered minor injuries after a tree had fallen on his moving car.

In Berlin, the fire department registered nearly 40 weather-related missions due to fallen trees or loose construction units overnight.

Railway passengers were told to expect delays on the main lines of German national railway operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) in the northern and eastern parts of Germany on Monday due to storm damage in the states of Brandenburg and Saxony.

Germany's National Meteorological Service (DWD) said on Monday, troughs of low pressure of the Atlantic caused unsettled and partly stormy weather in Germany. Endit
