Nigeria postpones parliament election in northern state

Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the postponement of the House of Representatives election in northern state of Jigawa.

There were no or insufficient supplies of ballot papers to seven constituencies, the commission said in a statement reaching Xinhua on Saturday.

A new date for the election will be announced by the commission, the statement added. Endi
