At least five policemen, including an officer, were killed in two separate militant attacks in Pakistan's southwest Loralai district on Friday, local media reported.

According to the reports, the first attack happened in Chichloo area where unidentified armed men attacked a police vehicle, killing four people, and fled the scene.

Police said the militants ambushed the vehicle of the cops who were on their way back from a court hearing.

The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area to hunt down the suspects.

Three policemen also went missing following the attack, but came back to the police station few hours later, however, they have not talked to media about the incident yet.

In another incident in the district, militants forced a police officer to alight from a passenger bus he was traveling and shot him dead on the street.

No group has claimed responsibility for either of the attack yet.
