French stock market index up 0.67 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.67 percent to 5,088.28 points on Tuesday, up 33.76 points.

The CAC 40 closed higher on Tuesday with 32 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

Tuesday's top three gainers were Orange, up 2.64 percent, Societe Generale, up 2.50 percent, and Saint Gobain, up 2.37 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Tuesday were Technip, down 1.57 percent, Carrefour, down 1.02 percent, and Kering, down 0.90 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 0.65 percent to 5,054.52 points, down 32.97 points. Endit
