Tusk: EU to uphold sanction pressure on Russia

European Council President Donald Tusk said the European Union (EU) will "uphold the sanction pressure on Russia" until a full implementation of the Minsk Agreements in a press conference ahead the spring summit Thursday.

Tusk said: "One of the best ways of supporting Ukraine will be through upholding the sanctions pressure on Russia until we witness a full implementation of the Minsk Agreements."

European heads of state gathered here to hold the regular spring summit debate Thursday, with development of the Energy Union, situation in Ukraine, relations with Russia, and the EU's economic situation top on the agenda. Endit
