Albanian police seize 30 kg TNT

Albanian police seized on Tuesday 30 kg TNT in a central Albanian city and arrested five people suspected of smuggling explosive substances.

Three of the five suspects, arrested in Fushe Kruja in central Albania, have criminal records, police said.

Albania is still plagued by organized crime, and it is not unusual for criminals to use bombs as a warning or to assassinate targets. Endit
