296 players compete at int'l badminton tournament in Vietnam

A total of 296 badminton players from 17 countries and regions are competing at the 2015 Yonex Sunrise Vietnam International Challenge, which kicks off in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Tuesday.

Among them are 257 foreign players from Australia, Canada, China, Chinese Taipei, China's Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States, according to the website of Vietnam Badminton Federation.

They will play in the men's and women's singles and doubles, and the mixed-doubles.

The tournament, which runs through March 22, has the endorsement of the Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia Confederation. Endi
