Man detained at Lisbon airport with 2,500 doses of cocaine

A 52-year-old man carrying over 2,500 doses of cocaine was detained at Lisbon airport while he was preparing to board a plane, the public safety police revealed on Monday in a statement.

The suspect was attempting to smuggle the cocaine on Friday, according to local media.

He has attended his first hearing at the District Court of Lisbon and the custody judge decided he will be kept in temporary custody. Endit
