Urgent: Gold up slightly ahead of Fed meeting

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose slightly on Monday ahead of the meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve scheduled to begin on Tuesday.

The most active gold contract for April delivery rose slightly 0.8 U.S. dollars, or 0.07 percent, to settle at 1,153.20 dollars per ounce. Endite
