James Harden scored 34 points as the Houston Rockets beat Los Angeles Clippers 100-98 on Sunday.

Terrence Jones had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Trevor Ariza had 19 points and nine rebounds for the Rockets.

"Guys got a lot of open shots, our bigs touched the ball a lot. It was Rockets basketball," Harden said after the game.

Chris Paul scored 23 points and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 20 rebounds for the Clippers, but Paul missed a close range jumper as time expired. Blake Griffin, who returned from a right elbow injury, had 11 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

"I didn't think I played well," Griffin said. "I was out of rhythm." Endi
