Officials from Shanxi investigated for graft

Three officials from north China's Shanxi Province are going to be prosecuted for allegedly accepting bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced on Monday.

Changzhi City people's procuratorate in Shanxi completed its investigation, and the cases are now being examined by judicial organs and are ready to enter the procedure of prosecution, according to Shanxi people's procuratorate.

The three suspects are former vice mayor of Taiyuan City Xue Zhongjin; former director of Shanxi economy and information technology commission Hu Ronghua, who also headed the bureau of small and medium enterprises in Shanxi; and chief engineer of the province's environmental protection department Zhao Yi.
