Roadside bombing kills 2 Afghans, wounds 4 others

Two people were killed and four others sustained injuries, all civilians as a roadside bomb planted by militants struck a civilian car in Ghazni province with Ghazni city as its capital 125 km south of Kabul on Sunday night, spokesman for provincial government Shafiq Nang said Monday.

"A mine planted by militants on a road in Andar district struck a car Sunday night leaving two women dead and injuring four others including a child and the driver," Nang told reporters here.

Taliban militants fighting the government and largely relying on suicide and roadside bombings are yet to claim responsibility. Endi
