India has bagged "infrastructure development rights" for two islands in the Indian Ocean region during the on- going tour of the region by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said local media Thursday.
The two islands are Agalega of Mauritius and Assumption of Seychelles, the two island countries Modi had visited during the past two days. (India-Island Development)

NEW DELHI -- An Oman Air flight from Muscat, carrying 150 passengers, suffered a tyre burst at landing at the international airport here Thursday, without causing any injury or damage, officials at the IGIA airport said.
All the passengers of flight WY 241 were safe after two nose- wheel tyres of the aircraft burst around 06:00 a.m. local time, said the officials. (India-Oman-Plane)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong met with Australian Immigration Minister Peter Dutton on Thursday to further discuss a refugee resettlement plan following an agreement struck by the two countries in September.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Cambodian spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Koy Kuong said Dutton told Hor Namhong that in a pilot project, Australia will send between three and five refugee-families in Nauru to Cambodia, but there is no exact date of the sending. DHAKA -- Three people were killed and scores more were feared trapped after the roof of a building under construction collapsed in Bangladesh's southern Bagerhat district Thursday afternoon.
