1st LD: Blast kills 4 Syrian soldiers in Homs city

Four Syrian soldiers were killed and five others wounded on Thursday when a booby-trapped vehicle exploded at a military checkpoint in the central province of Homs, the pro-government Sham FM radio reported.

The blast rocked the checkpoint near the town of Furoqlus, east of Homs, the report said without elaboration.

The state news agency SANA also filed a brief report on the explosion. Endit
