Singapore stocks close 0.15 pct lower

Singapore stocks finished lower on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 4. 99 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 3,373.60.

A total of 1.27 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 01 billion Singapore dollars (732.5 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 228 to 188, while 517 others finished unchanged.

The STI index lost 19.67 points, or 0.58 percent, to close at 3, 378.59 on Wednesday. Endi
