Actor Johnny Depp leaves Australia with broken wrist

Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has departed from Australia for the United States with his injured hand, local media reported on Thursday.

Depp, being wounded while driving a go-kart, has flown from the Queensland set of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to have surgery on his broken right wrist.

The fifth episode of the super successful film franchise will continue shooting while he is away, the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper reported.

It said Depp broke his wrist last weekend while renting the home of former motorcycle champion Mick Doohan's mansion near the Gold Coast.

Depp appeared in good spirits when he flew out of Brisbane airport in a private jet on Wednesday. Endi
