Criminal cases involving polluters up 8.5 times in China last year

The number of criminal cases involving polluters increased by 8.5 times year on year in China in 2014, according to the work report of the Supreme People's Court Thursday.

Courts nationwide closed about 16,000 criminal cases related to environment protection, said the report to be delivered to the national legislature at the ongoing annual session. Endi
